Cancer Sucks but Chili's Doesn't !

Today is the annual St. Jude's Fundraiser at Chili's! 100% of their profits goes to St. Judes to help fight Childhood Cancer! As Childhood Cancer Awareness Month comes to a close this is one last way to show your support and one GREAT way to help such a tremendous cause!

So go get supper there tonight..do it for someone you know or just to help out all the kids that suffer with cancer and fight it everyday !

I recently learned about the site Fresh Deals . After looking all around it I can honestly say that I will be using it from now on,whenever I'm looking into buying something !

Most people buy things without getting all the facts they need about products. Freshdeals.com has a Q&A forum integrated into each page so users can ask other users questions about a particular product. It provides a place where users can find the “freshest” deals on products as well as the essential information needed to make a buying decision.

I love that you can go on there and read people's questions and answers about lots of different products. Then if you don't find something you are looking for you can post your own question and other people will answer it ....some sites are set up only for you to ask the company about the product and of course they are going to answer you back great things about whatever their product is. On Fresh Deals though you get other people just like you giving you their feelings on the product so you are bound to hear everything about it and that includes what they didn't like about it too ! I also like where they always have listed all the freshest deals so you can check it out on there before buying and get what you are looking for at a better price !

So before you go shopping around for that next new thing you just need to get ....go have a look around Fresh Deals and see what others are saying about it first !

Babies In The News !

I would not want either of these things to happen to me ! First off my friend had an 11 pound 6 oz boy when her son was born 15 years ago....I thought that was scary... I seen how big she was and how sore she was all the time until she had her section. Just imagine how big this woman must have been !

Then there is this woman who is having babies that are not twins ! So when we are whining about feeling crappy while pregnant ...just be thankful we aren't going through anything like these poor women !

House Hunting ...The Good The Bad and The UGLY !

We have looked at 72 houses in person and ruled out about that many just from the pictures ! I love going through houses ,I have ever since I was little my uncle builds homes and his wife owns Coldwell Banker back home where I grew up. So I have seen tons of houses,but I have never in my life seen so many that are so craptastic as I have since I moved here !

We looked at 30 houses before we bought this one and hated them all, then because our new house was sold we just bought this one anyway because we needed something and it was better then the others we had seen . It's awful buying a house knowing you both hate it!

We moved in and ripped out all the floors and put in new ones along with painting the whole house and putting in all new lights and then just within the last couple weeks we did new counter tops and a sink, we had already bought all new appliances when we moved in too and oh yeah it was November when we moved and ripped it all apart and I was 7 months pregnant.....not fun !

All along we said once the dh gets a different job we will sell this house and move to where ever that is. Well we have been looking there too and it's been a pain in the butt ! Everything that's new or updated and nice at least is just way too small and everything we have looked at that is big enough is AWFUL ! We looked at a few yesterday and two of them smelled so horrible that we walked in and stood there peeked in the rooms we could see from the door and walked back out!

It's pretty bad when you live in a really nice part of town close to the golf course and your neighbors all have nice homes and yours looks great outside but on the inside its a dump. I do not understand why people don't look after their homes. I could live in one for 20 years and the walls and floors would not have marks all over them and holes in them and the carpets would not be covered in lord only knows what! Really why would someone want to live in their home that way and I would be embarrassed to have anyone over and feel horrible if I was trying to sell it and it looked like that!

I don't mind getting a house that fits us and having to do new counters or paint or even new appliances ,but really I don't want to have to rip all the floors out and fix holes and buy new windows and everything else...I'm too old to do that for the third time and I have two little babies...I did it before the first time I had three little ones and then the last time I was pregnant again doing it ....I'm sick of it !

The other problem we have is selling this house, nobody here is working ! So I worry we will never be able to sell . So that's what I have been up to for the last few days.

Just Because .......

some things have been going on for years does not always make them right ! Having the childhood that I did and having two teen girls and now a new baby girl ....makes me really think about things and when it comes to violence against anyone I'm not for it but I'm really against it when it involves young girls and older men !

I would never ever want one of my daughters to go through anything like what I did in my life and when I hear stories about it , it really gets me fired up about speaking out against it ! I get that way about babies and little kids too...there is just no need to be cruel and hurtful to people that don't deserve it and can't defend themselves....and it's those people that need people (with big mouths like me ) to speak out against it and help anyway they can !

So when I read stories like this I'm going to share and usually I do it in a post called WTH and I say my little thought about it and give you guys the link so you can read it for yourselves. I just thought I should explain a little bit for anyone new reading my blog so you don't think I'm some nut case with so many WTH posts ! haha

So if you didn't click on the link to the new case I have just read about here it is again, please go read it and if more moms use their voice ...be it through blog land or in just talking to someone you're friends with in real life maybe just maybe things will start to change and fewer young people will suffer at the hands of someone older that should know better !

WTH ?!!!

When you just get the baby back to sleep ,you should always expect something to wake her back up...just not this !

Why yes it's the HS Marching Band proudly playing their drums and crap right outside my bedroom window at 9:00 AM !

Yet another reason ...I can't wait to move away from here and another thing that makes me say ...WTH ?

I Love Chicken Enchiladas !

I know people make them lots of different ways ,but this is how I make mine :

I take chicken and fry it in a pan and once it's almost cooked I cut it up because it's easier to cut then ...I don't really like touching yucky slimy weird feeling raw chicken !

Then I throw in my spices while the strips of chicken finish cooking . When it's done I throw some in the tortilla along with some shredded cheese ( I always use Colby and Monterey Jack) that you get already done in the bag...it's faster and when you have kids any way you can still really cook but get it done faster ....I do it !

I roll up my chicken and cheese rolls and lay them in the pan,I always pour a little sauce on the bottom first so they don't stick to it. Once they are all in the pan I pour the rest of my sauce over them usually two cans. Then I cover it with cheese and shake pepper over the top ,put it in the oven at 350 and cook until the cheese is nice and melted and I like it a little brown.

Then I always eat mine with sour cream, and they are so good ! It's one of those things that when I'm making it I never hear " I don't like that " from anyone !

Two Months Old Today !

We just got back from the two month Well Baby check and Avery was 11 pounds and 14 ounces , 23 inches long ! She doing great and sleeping much better too...so that makes mommy happy !

This and That !

The dh started his new job last week and said he thinks he's going to like working with the people in his office. I think that's great, there is nothing worse then spending day after day dealing with people that drive you crazy ! I asked him lots about everything and the place sounds nice, however the thing that got me excited was not the big gym they have and the Olympic size pool that family members can use 24/7 for free...no it was the fact that there is a gay guy on his floor and a couple more in his building !

I have always wanted a gay boyfriend ! So I'm hoping this is my chance to get one ! With a gay man you get the best of everything, someone fun to hang out with that likes a lot of the same things you do and when you are out in public you don't have to worry other men are looking at you two and thinking your friend is so much better looking then you ! If he's a cutie then other girls look at the guy your with and are jealous ..haha . Plus it's one friend you never have to worry about your man checking out or sleeping with and if you do .....he's not the man for you anyways ...if you know what I mean ! hahaha

The other thing is girls are always so two faced and catty and such backstabbers,men usually don't act like that !

Ok so now that you know another weird thing about me,I'll move on to other stuff .

The men are coming tomorrow to put the new counter top in the kitchen and then we just need to paint a couple things and I need to clear out some boxes and the realtor can come take pictures and we can list this stupid house ! whoohoo

The baby goes for her two month check tomorrow and then Wednesday goes for her needles and the dh is going to be away over night Wednesday for work ...so I hope the needles don't make her too cranky or I'm going to have a very fun time and he won't get to enjoy it with me ,because I like to share those things...I'm nice like that !

WTH ?

Stuff like this makes me cry and glad it wasn't me that happened upon it . I would have flipped out ! The guy is right.... that woman needs someone to do that to her and see how she likes it !

I'm thinking with my extra 60 pounds on me ...I could have kicked her ass ! Once again ..I'm left thinking WTH is wrong with people ?

Because I Have Lost My Mind ....

I decided WTH and posted a picture of myself looking like a beached whale and even worse ...standing beside Heather looking all cute and skinny makes me feel fatter ! In my defence I did just have a baby (my 5th ) and I'm old and wearing a big loose (maternity ) tank top ! Oh and my hair is in a pony..I look like I don't have any .

It was nice to meet someone you get to know through blog land,these are pictures from Heather's camera ...mine are still on mine .
