Hmmmm

OK, first off when I say I'm back to normal and feeling crappy I was referring to the odd day and a half where I wasn't hungry at all and not feeling like all my days have been so far with this pregnancy. Now I'm back to being hungry every couple hours , actually I think the feeling sick 24/7 is going away....thank goodness !

It lasted for 14 weeks the last time , so this time was shorter. I don't have any kind of Christmas blues or let down going on , since I have never had a real Christmas since I moved here .

If there is some nosey family member of his here reading this go right ahead, I will never write something here that would give you ammo to start any kind of trouble anyways. As far as my life I have never done anything wrong in it where I need to worry about it coming back to bite me in the ass anyways . Telling strangers something is one thing ,telling people that I know and really don't feel close to or trust is something different .

I didn't have anything for Try It Tuesday this week. We watched a couple movies on Sunday and I was just going to tell you those .

Burn After Reading is crazy and it's funny in parts , but mostly it's just stupid .

Traitor is really good !

I liked in the end of Traitor they were in Halifax and when they were showing some of the shots and I seen one of the bridges , it was nice I have been there lots . I'm a wimp however and absolutely hated going over those bridges whenever I had to be on them.

Someones house alarm went off this morning at 4 and I listened to it for a good 20 minutes and then finally heard a cop car going and then another 10 minutes before it was turned off. So I hope nothing bad was happening to the people that live there, with how slow the cops were to respond they sure wouldn't have got there in time to be of any use !

Then the wonderful dog started barking for her breakfast at 6 so I ran out there in my nightie and fed her to shut her up. I don't like other people's dogs barking and driving people nuts so I feel bad when she starts and no matter the time I run and feed her to shut her up . I don't need my dog to wake other people up, I know how much I love it when I get the baby to sleep and the two clowns that live next door to me start revving their race cars up at all hours and wake him up.

I Have Nothing !

Everything is back to normal with me and I feel crappy . I also feel like everyone else must have much more exciting lives then I do. I see some blogs that post two and three times a day and I think they either do more exciting things then me or just break every little thing up to put in different post . However when I go look most of them are just short and really are not anything exciting.

I mean I have four kids and one is a little one who's into everything , but really I feel like my life is boring and nobody wants to hear about the mindless boring stuff that goes on all day. I don't like to talk about the three older kids on here really since they would not like it at all and I wouldn't want them to start hating me the way they hate their rotten father.

I have thought about talking about my life , the one before I moved here . It would be like a great tragic story that you just can't get enough of and would make alot of you cry. However it's my old life and I feel there is no reason for my husband's family to know anything about it and even though I have never told anyone that I have this , I don't really know if someone he knows has happened to find it and just doesn't tell me they are nosey and read it.

I have seen that someone from Wichita comes to my blog , but they never ever comment so I don't know if it's one of his family being nosey or just some innocent lurker, I'm asking you please if you are the person from there let me know so I can stop guarding what I say here so much in case it's his family. Yes I do know there is another girl that comes here from there also , but she does comment and I do know what one is her when she's here, I didn't want to say your name in case you don't want others to know that's where you are from .

Now that Christmas is over I need to put all this extra stuff away , my house looks like a tornado went through it and I so do not like it looking this way ! Oh ...does anyone want a dog ?

That's all I have for now, so please if you are my lurker let me know so I can stop freaking out that someone in his family is reading this and then not telling us they know.

Rain, Football and a Birthday !

I hope everyone had a nice Christmas . I'm just glad it's over ! It's raining out and all night it was really raining and thundering, it was 70 here yesterday ! I haven't really been doing much of anything, I hurt my back some how and I can hardly move . So I plan on just laying back and taking it easy all weekend.

It's the hubby's birthday today so he said all he wants to do is stay home and watch football and spend time with the baby , since he went to work yesterday at 7:30 am and didn't get home until 10 last night !

I have a question for you , this is going to be my 5 th baby and never before has this happened. I always was hungry every couple hours , even waking up every night around 4 am with my belly growling. Then yesterday I never got hungry once all day and didn't really eat anything and just got up a little while ago and my belly still isn't screaming feed me like it usually does.

I have never had this happen before where I just all of a sudden am no longer hungry, I don't really feel sick anymore either but I also really don't feel like eating....isn't that odd ?

So now I have myself thinking all kinds of crazy things, I have seen and heard of people that go to the doctor for their appointment and then the doctor tells them the baby doesn't have a heartbeat and when they get looking and measuring find out it stopped a couple weeks or so before, but the woman had no idea. So now I told my husband this morning what if that's what this means and really it happened to other people and they just never picked up on the not starving all the time....he was not impressed and told me to not think stuff like that at all , he's sure everything is fine.

Maybe it's just my crazy pregnant brain over thinking everything . Or maybe because my back hurts so bad my body doesn't care about food or something who knows.

Yes , I am crazy apparently !

Try It Tuesday !

Peanut Butter Cups - I know some people love Reese ones , but I have always found them kinda grainy and not near as creamy and smooth as these ones .

Cranergy - I like cranberry juice nice and cold, this however I couldn't stand. In fact none of the kids would drink it either and I dumped it out .

Milano Cookies - I have always liked the milk chocolate ones, they are so good with a mug of hot chocolate or coffee or whatever you happen to be drinking. I have looked here for almost 4 years and can never find them only the dark chocolate ones and for the first time I seen the milk chocolate ones a couple weeks ago so I grabbed them .

Lindt Lindor Truffles - I love the milk chocolate ones and I don't mind the white ones, they also come in dark chocolate and I think you can get hazelnut ones too. Lindt chocolate is by far one of the very best kinds you will ever buy or eat !

How Was Your Weekend?

We drove down to see my husband's grandmother on Saturday, we haven't been to her house in three years! He is always working and never gets vacation and then with the kids and me being pregnant last year I just didn't feel like it. She is 84 however and we thought maybe we should take a day and go down since the baby had never been there yet and you just never know what will happen.

She is really nice and reminds me alot of my grandmother , she loved seeing the baby. I however felt like crap all the way down there and the whole time we were there and then for an extra shot of fun the baby screamed his head off all night and didn't want to sleep there !

Got up yesterday feeling even crappier and all I wanted to do was sleep. It was a very fun three hour drive home ! The other kids never minded going away over night and would always sleep wherever I took them . We took him away over night back in April and it was the same thing, we thought by now he would have outgrown it....guess not !

So I guess we won't be taking him anywhere again ,until he's old enough to understand get in that bed like a good boy and go to sleep...I'm praying that will be before he's 20 !

I have all my presents done but I still just don't feel like it's Christmas . Next year I guess with Brody running all around and being excited then I will be. The older kids are all past it now , since they don't believe in Santa and don't want to get toys or watch kids shows.

They would rather spend their school break with friends hanging out . I don't really have anything planned today other then a bunch of laundry and cleaning the house up.

So since now you see how boring my life is , what did you do this weekend ?

Parents Magazine and Toys !

Parents Magazine puts out a great list of toys each year , I just happen to love this one my older kids are too old now and I have seen different kids camera out in stores but never had anyone to buy one for. However now that I have my son who just happens to love anything with big mirrors on it and buttons to press, this is a great toy for him !

I Got My Toffee...Did You ?

I got my toffee last night just before supper. I was surprised to see how nice the box was , I opened it up and took a little piece to try it and it is absolutely wonderful! If you didn't go check out this post , go do it now they are giving away a free pound to the first forty people !

Cabbage Casserole !

I'm missing the meat and the spices from the picture and you can't see the box of rice very well, I was trying to hurry.

I take the hamburger and throw it in a bowl and pour the minute rice in and I add just normal pepper in there too and mix it up.

It looks like this once its mixed.

I pour a little of the sauce in the bottom of the pan, so the pieces of cabbage don't stick to it.

After I make the meat and rice mixture into balls ,ovals whatever I put them in on top of the bottom layer of cabbage.

Then I chop up green pepper and mushrooms and throw it over the meat. Then I sprinkle some more rice over that and add some more sauce, and shake some red pepper over all of it.

Then I add the tomatoes and I chop them up after I throw them in and then add more sauce to cover everything I just added, you don't need to mix it the sauce will mix the pepper down through everything.

I then add another layer of cabbage and cover it with sauce .

Cover and cook on 350 until cabbage is tender and meat is done .

When I put anything in the oven, I get this ! So even though it's cute I don't recommend it ,since some ovens can get very hot on the outside, mine doesn't but I still tell him no and it's hot and yank him away in case he ever wants to try that at someone else's house.

Don't mind my yucky kitchen, when we moved in we ripped all the floors in the rest of the house up and painted and did new carpets and hardwood . We didn't get to the kitchen yet, it had a really old counter top stove there and then a wall oven over on the other side but they were really big and would have cost us over $5000 to replace just those two things to fit the sizes they were. So we ripped them out and had to take the cupboard out too from there, and since we needed to buy a new dishwasher too and there was no fridge we got a great deal and bought everything to match. Now I have really new appliances in a really old crappy kitchen, so after Christmas gets over with, the next thing we need to do is get new cupboards and counter tops and a sink....big fun !

There now your casserole should have cooked while I yapped away, and once it has it should look something like this. I always have nice soft rolls with it too !

I have made cabbage rolls a couple times and it's a big pain in the bum to make them , so I came up with this instead . It taste great and it's so much easier then rolling the leaves and keeping the filling in and things, when you have kids running around it's much faster and easier on you if you take recipes that are time consuming and a pain in the bum to do and change them up into something that taste the same but is easier and a lot faster to make !

Ten Months Today !

I didn't get a picture yet because I feel like crap ! He gets in that toy and pushes it like a walker all over the room...the thing has rubber slip grippers on those big round legs and the boy moves it like it's nothing, maybe he will big a big strong football player like his dad and papa dream of !

Since we are talking about veggies here, do your kids eat them or do you have to fight with them to do it. Some moms even have to trick their kids into eating them, so tell me how is it in your house?

I was very lucky and all three of my older kids all love veggies cooked or raw with dip, but I know lots of moms who have a hard time getting their kids to try them.

I Love To Do This !

I don't know why, but that boy loves to throw himself backwards when you are holding him and hang upside down and look around ! He also closes his eyes faster then any person I have ever known when getting pictures, so out of four this was the only one where they weren't closed or where he didn't have that crazy half closed drunk look going on !

Go over and see this little cutie she's only a few days older then Brody , so it's been great these last ten months watching the things they can do and when they both start them.

Delgo !

I have talked about a couple things I use to like doing with the kids when they were little and ,now I'm waiting for my son to get a little older so he can enjoy them like his older sisters and brother did.

One thing I always tried to do was take the kids to a movie over their Christmas break, I usually tried to do it on a Sunday afternoon, that way it wasn't too busy and when they went back to school the next day it was fresh in their mind. There are so many kids that when asked what did you do over Christmas say, nothing or I don't know because other then Christmas morning they either don't do anything much fun to them or it was so long since they did the fun thing ,they forgot what it was. Plus Sunday afternoon is good because you go home have supper and then go to bed at a normal bedtime and get up for school the next morning .

I still take the kids to movies , but not much now that they are getting older they all like different things. I can't wait for my son and now the new one on it's way to be old enough to go watch good clean fun cartoon movies with us.

I have seen the clips for this new movie on TV a few times, and it looks like one we would go see as a family. I think my son would go ,however the girls are too old to be seen watching a cartoon with their parents, it's bad enough being seen in public at all with us !

I think it sounds like a great family friendly movie and it has a big cast of names you know in the roles.

So usually I do Try It Tuesday on Tuesdays , but I didn't feel like it today ! In fact most days now I don't feel like doing anything...I feel sick 24/7 and now I even Puke too ...LUCKY ME !

I love mashed potatoes and gravy, my hubby knows this bless his heart and last night brought me home a roast beef dinner and an extra side of mashed potatoes and gravy ( yes extra ..when I don't feel too sick to eat ...all I want to do is eat ...so there ) he even ordered a club sandwich for himself in case when he got here my gravy craving had pasted and I wanted something else .

I took one bite of the roast beef and didn't want it and thought I'll try the potatoes.....they were fake potatoes...omg ! I have never seen a restaurant use fake ones ever in my life ! He had also got an order of fried mushrooms, I ate those and one part of the sandwich and he had the other three and my dinner.

Since yesterday I had Special K for breakfast and it lasted a whole 10 minutes before it was no longer with me today I had the extra dish of fake potatoes and gravy...so far so good!

I have not put one thing up for Christmas and really I don't want to ! Christmas just is not nice here , it doesn't feel like Christmas to me and I never want to waste my time dragging my stuff out...maybe it's because I don't know anyone here so nobody is coming to see it anyways !

I need to do my cards so I can mail them, I don't mail as many as I use to . I only send them now to people that send them to me and if I get cards with no pictures of your kids then you are getting an empty card back from me......MERRY CHRISTMAS !

I did order a bunch of kids movies , I had tons of them before but all on vhs so now I needed them on dvd since by next year the baby will sit and watch them. I can't wait for that ,I love watching Christmas cartoons with the little ones while sitting in our pjs and having the tree lit and my different Christmas candle stuff burning!

Ok so really there is no point to my post at all, I was just yapping away to you all since I never have anyone to talk to here. Since I brought up sending cards, tell me do you send cards and include pictures of your kids.....(yes Carrie you don't have kids yet , see I already knew what part of your comment would be haha ) .

The Ultimate Party Meatballs !

Three ingredients is all you need !

I mixed the cranberry jelly and the chili sauce together on medium and gave it a stir now and then until it was smooth. I did kinda chop up the jelly with the spoon to make it blend together faster.

Then once it's smooth add your bag of meatballs and heat until they are hot all the way through!

When I heard about these new meatballs, I thought with as many people that eat in my house I'll give them a try since there is only three ingredients and they are super fast to make. I have to say I wasn't really sure if I would like them or not since I never eat the cranberry jelly stuff and I have never even tasted the chili sauce before .

Once they were done I tried one, then I had three more ! haha

The Avon Lady!

I don't know about you guys, but when I was little I loved it when the Avon Lady came to our house. When I was really little it was my friend's mom and then a few years later another lady took over.I use to love all the little samples that she would give me, and I loved looking through the book picking out all the things I liked.

Try It Tuesday!

pHisoderm - I did a post and giveaway for their babywash a few weeks ago and because I like their stuff so much . I thought I would tell you about a couple of their other products that everyone can use.

I was one of those lucky teens that never ever had a break out , however after I got pregnant for my third baby that all changed. All of a sudden I was breaking out all the time , I tried different products and I have found that I really like the pHisoderm ones the anti-blemish body wash is great ! It has Aloe,Vitamin E and Chamomile in it so not only does it help prevent and clear up out breaks it doesn't dry out your skin. I also like the cleansing pads , I have tried other kinds and I find these one are really good !

CERTAIN- DRI- I have been using it for awhile now, and I have to say it's better then any other anti-perspirant I have ever used. It goes on clear and doesn't have a scent really. It does work a little different then the normal ones you can get, so read the instructions before you use it so you get the most you can out of it.

softlips - I have used this for years, I have always liked the small skinny tube and have always liked any of the flavors I have bought. Now they have a new line of them out that are 100% natural and 95% organic , so they are great for people who can't use other products with alot of different ingredients.

Baby Einstein !

I have seen Baby Einstein products for years in stores and in friend's homes that had babies . So when my baby came along I knew that I would be buying some for sure. They have so many great products to pick from and anything I have ever bought or received as a gift was always a wonderful addition to his collection of toys .

Over a decade ago, Baby Einstein was founded by Julie Clark, a mom who wanted to share her love of humanities with her baby. Her intent was to create products that offered interactive experiences for her and her daughter to discover the world together. While Baby Einstein has grown over the years, this same philosophy is at the heart of everything that we do. All of our products are designed to encourage discovery and inspire new ways for parents and little ones to interact.

He has a the baby activity blanket and before he could crawl he would lay there for a long time listening to and looking at the star and grabbing the different toys that hang off it. I loved that it would give me a break from holding him for a few minutes and it was also something he enjoyed doing.

Now that he's getting older we are starting to read books and Baby Einstein has very cute little board books for your little one. As he gets older and gets into watching TV and movies they also have some wonderful movies for him to watch and I hope he loves them as much as he did his playmat !

So since I'm just starting to get into buying the books and movies and toys for older babies,I thought I'd ask all of you . Do your kids have Baby Einstein products and if so what ones do you love ?
