I wanted to put it up again though to show everyone what I have been dealing with since last night ! I noticed he was sounding kind of stuffy and getting cranky ,then around 8 he decided "I'm going to scream and cry unless someone holds me".
So I have been holding him and walking him ,and holding him and walking him...see a theme here? I finally got him to sleep around 2 a.m. and then he was up at 5:30 and has been up ever since! He has been having his bottle all on his own now for a couple months but now since he's not feeling well,I have been holding him while he has it ,because he won't drink it alone and I think it's easier for him to breathe and drink if I'm holding him more upright.
So I will be holding him and feeding him and letting him sleep on me until he feels better ,oh did I mention I'm not allowed to sit unless he's eating other then that I have to be up walking with him or he screams! Fun times are going on at my house ! Plus it's still raining !
I hope everyone has a nice day and I hope none of your little ones catch a cold anytime soon,but if they do and you are up all night you can talk to me on my twitter thingy,since I leave this on while I'm up so I can read blogs when he lets me for two minutes!

Oh Honey, I wish I lived close and could come help you. I have been there x2. Miserable!!!! I do have one little trick that seems to help for a few minutes. The baby vapor bath stuff is amazing. The warm water seems to relax their achey little bodies and they they love the bubbles the vapor bath makes. I don't know if it works for everybody, but it saved me.
Oh, I'm so sorry!!! I hope he starts feeling better soon. Even though he's screaming in that picture it still made me smile!
Karen - I did buy a bottle of that stuff,it wasn't around when the other three were little and I was going to try it out today! I hope it works for him too!

Poor Brody! Mia is sick with a cold too. She kept me up most of Monday night because she wanted to suck the binky but couldn't because she was congested. My husband and I took turns for awhile, but then he had to get some rest for work.
All other nights since then she has done fine, but she is still battling the congestion. Oh, and now Austin has it too.
I hope Brody starts handling it better and you can get some sleep. Get Well Soon Brody!

Poor baby! I do hope he falls asleep and you will be able to sit for just a bit! Maybe try laying him on the dryer. That always worked for mine, when I got tired of walking!! LOL! I hope he feels better soon.

could have given me a little sanity during the night last night!
it was a LONG one.
i ended up with 1 1/2 hours of sleep and i'm at work. with a 24 ounce coffee. don't ask.
see...i haven't dranken, drunk, drinked...the coffee yet.

Awwww, babies with colds are miserable...and can make us miserable. I hope he starts feeling better soon. And I hope you can get some rest!
