Raining !

It's raining and thundering and it said that for all weekend ...nice! My mil was going to have a yard sale and my dh was going to take his boat over to it,guess I'm stuck with that lovely thing sitting in my yard for at least another week!

He works all the time and he sold his truck two years ago,the only time he has used it since was a few times with a friend but not once this summer and only once last year...it has to go!

I would rather use the money for bills then look at some stupid bass boat sitting in my yard. We need to go get the baby some pj's and socks and pants ,the poor kid only has one pair of sleepers that will fit him. I still have lots of things in the closet with tags on them ,but they are all things that people gave him when he was born and were too big then it was summer so they were too heavy to wear and now they are too small.

I still didn't order his car seat either, good thing we never go anywhere! He can still fit in the baby one if we need to run and do something for now.

My dh brought me supper last night it was really good... Swordfish Almondine , wild rice and grilled asparagus and of course molten chocolate lava cake with home made ice cream!
I didn't eat that yet I always save it for the next day . So I have something to look forward to while he's at work and I'm here listening to kids yell and fight!

Well other then reading blogs and all the mommy things ,I'm not doing anything today. My hubby will come home from work and watch OU play and spend until midnight watching every other college football game on and all the news shows about the games he just watched...I really don't get that if you just watched 10 hours of football why do you need to watch the news about the games afterwards...you already know what happened....YOU WATCHED IT HAPPEN!

He works in the office of an oil company. They have tons of money, but pay their workers crap ! I can't wait for him to be done college so we can move to a new job where he will get paid what he should because he has his stupid degree!
As for the food,if I have to be stuck here all day everyday from 7:30 until 7-8 or on college class nights 10 then if I didn't make something big with leftovers for the kids then he can bring me supper..I deserve it !

I understand about college football because I'm the same way with college basketball. I will admit I'm better now that I live with TNT because before him I watched non stop and ESPN afterwards. Now I just watch the KU games since he can't stand watching more than two hours of bball.

My husband hates sports, and I am so THANKFUL!

I hope your dessert is yummy!

My husband loves those reruns of football games. I will never get that.
I'm doing nothing today. Nothing. Catching up on a weeks worth of blog posts and putting the house back together.

You sound like me...My husband is a kitchen manager and he works long hours. When he's been at work from 9am to 10 pm at night, I'm not cooking for just me and the little man. He'll have to bring me food home from the restaurant.

As for sports in our house...I don't like football season. I just don't get it. My husband watches college and pro football(he does the fantasy football thing). It drives me crazy. However, I LOVE college basketball and could watch it all day everyday on TV.

Hockey training camps start next week!! Hooray!

I don't really do college sports, but since I discovered fantasy football I have begun to get back into the NFL. My wife would agree with you, for the most part. I don't do all of the pre- and post-game stuff, though.
